This website is a resource for young people to understand their rights and obligations under the Law in South Australia.
The fundamental rights of Minors (that is under 18 years of age) are founded in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child to which Australia subscribes like most other Countries. These ‘Rights’ are listed in friendly language* on the ‘About You’ page. Many everyday personal issues affected by the Law are also listed on the ‘What If’ page and will be added to from time-to-time.
